The Britamark Ltd. has been propagating strawberry plants and raspberry canes mainly for exports since its foundation. Nowadays we propagate berry fruit plants in a 20 ha large area in Vachartyan. (Pest county) In this area the soil type is sand with high humus percentige which is ideal for growing and plant lifting. The whole area is irrigated. Aim to prevent our plants from pests and diseases we use Haygrove one pass bedmaker and polylayer before planting. (see: machinery) In well prepared soil the plants will be stronger and the root volume probably much more to compare standard propagated plants.
